The Materials Theory and Computation (MaTComp) group at Tulane University led by Professor Jianwei Sun has positions available for PhD students starting Fall 2021. Currently, the interests of the group are in the development of density functional theory and its applications in quantum materials, including strongly correlated systems (like high-Tc superconductors and interacting topological materials), magnetic materials, computational material synthesis, and energy applications.
